WHO ARE YOU?
Who are you may I ask?
(Unsigned)
------------------------------------------------------
I do not use my name because I prefer the anonymity of "Everybody's
Uncle." When I told my niece I was going to do a radio show, she suggested, "Call it, 'The Uncle Jimmy Hour' because you are everybody's
uncle." I thought "The Uncle Jimmy Hour" sounded like a kiddy show but "Everybody's Uncle" was appropriate.
Everybody's Uncle Jim believes that the thinking process itself can be
acquired and should be taught. EU brings no credentials to the radio show or the webpage. I don't want to draw questions that relate to any professional background, rather, life situations requiring logic and
experience more than academics.
Everybody's Uncle was once asked, "Are you a computer?" No, just a flesh and blood human blessed (or cursed) with uncanny logic. This "gift" was a
problem when I was a kid but a formidable tool as I learned to use it judiciously. The ability to digest and prioritize enriched my life. My "nieces
and nephews (a phrase I use loosely and affectionately for almost everyone)" among friends and peers suggested I write a book and do a radio show.
My last radio was discontinued November 2002 because the station had an FCC problem that suspended operations. I will pursue another broadcast in the near future. A book is planned, but no timetable.
I came from very humble beginnings and by circumstance or choice was involved with many different work situations. Life introduced me to a cross-section of people and personalities from miserable and antagonistic,
to brilliant and inspirational. "Everybody's Uncle," shares the benefits of his life experience on this page. My learning process included many mistakes.
Jimism: The wise man learns from the mistakes of others; the fool learns only from his own missteps; some never learn."
The webpage is self-supported and offers nothing for sale. It promotes the
radio show and acknowledges its sponsors.
